      I never touched it.
1.Is there any options for memory card?
2.Anybody knows such a toy with option to connect USB HD or Flash?

Wow this and awesome deal. The old design is just as good looking as the new one, and it is a little thinner. This is a great device, even if you are just using it as an internet browser. The apps are great too, and it is a decent music player. No to both your questions though #1

So what all does the new touch have over these ones? I see it has an analog volume control and built in speakers. Anything else significant?

I agree with #5, ziphone in my opinion is the best and easiest app to hack itouch and iphone.

Are certain games now only able to run on the new Itouches, or are they all good to go on new and old models?

I have heard ziphone is a good app for hacking these things, I have yet to try it myself though so be wary.

enlighten us on how hacking an itouch would make it useless? does it void the warranty? yes, but they work just as fine as an itouch that is not hacked.

      Ipod collider ready for power-up
      By Paul Rincon
      Science reporter, BBC News

Three decades after it was conceived, the world's most powerful physics experiment is ready to be powered up.

Engineers will attempt to circulate a beam of particles around the 27km-long underground tunnel which houses the Large Ipod Collider (IC).

The £5bn machine is designed to smash Ipods together with cataclysmic force, revealing signs of new physics in the wreckage.

...and that's how you hack Ipods

Attikai - yes the old iPod Touch can load apps/games. I have the old 32GB iPod Touch and the apps/games that work on the iPhone also works on it (not all apps but most) but you have to download the iPhone Software v2.1 (for the iPod Touch) in order to install the apps (apple.com charges $9.95 for it). Once installed you can download apps/games with wifi or with iTune (some of the apps/games are free... at least the lite version).

Also if you intend to buy the iPhone Software, I would recommend getting an iTune gift card on eBay (you can get $50 card for around $25... got it for $22 with "Best Offer"). There are a few cool games (Chopper, Asphalt 4, Spore) but they go for around $5 - $10.

The new ones are a joke, a bit thinner and a bit cheaper. No FM, no camera, no GPS chip, no flash slot, no $15/mo all you can play music subscription (like Rhapsody or Zune) and for games it is more expensive than DS or PSP - you can buy an XBOX360 Arcade for this money.

Apple is getting to be the IBM of electronics companies in the 21st century
