As Fernando would say, it's better to look good than to feel good, you know what I'm saying.
It runs Mac OS. That is worth paying more for some people.
Hackintosh a system and get it for much less.
I own Mac but the recent prices for Apple laptops would have me think twice before spending $850 on a 13" laptop.
