Kinda tough to argue with that price for what you get.

or for a bit more than double the price you can get four times the storage with a new device.

I won't argue with you on that, MM, but I will point out that you can buy a refurbed Classic 80GB at the Apple Store for just $40 more.

$40 more, absolutely, but you get 50GB more capacity, a far superior battery, and a full year warranty (as opposed to 60 days for this). To me, it's no contest. But you can't argue about the $40, for sure.

But who wants to have an "outdated" model? You are so 2007.

I've had 3 Apple refurbs, all either performed flawlessly or were replaced cheerfully for one that did. It does help in that regard to have an Apple Store handy, but their mail-in service has a good reputation.

That's a really good deal, imo, since the current model costs 250 and I'll never use 120 gigs
