Yes. The new version is called the iPod Classic and only comes in 80GB and 160GB.

looks to be the 5th generation ipods, i've experienced a high fail rate with these, but that's just me. Not worth it in my opinion, i'd pay anothe 100 or so and get the 120gb ipod classic.

the latest gen only comes in 120GB. the 80GB and 160GB are the previous gen. don't waste your money on this 30GB model. save your $ like #4 and buy the latest gen.

THis one can run rockbox but is a bit thicker than the classic. Not sure I trust a refurb from negg but Apple refurbs are known to be top notch.

If you want an iPod buy it from Apple. Sicty-day warranty. Refurbished by ???? Suggest you read the reviews.

I picked up one of these refurbs a while back. No problems with it. 30 gig is plenty for me so don't see the point of paying more. The bigger ones get a bigger battery also but I can watch a couple of movies no problem. I did put rockbox on it and it works great. For a carry along I would go with a more compact solid state one but for in the car or docked with a stereo in the bedroom it is a good choice. Depends on your needs and expectations.

The "1" means it is over 100, or "One Hundred" which is the same as 99+1. $129 means it is 29 + 100 dollars.

Why is this rated so bad? Is the non-recertified rated much better?

I saw this product the other day while browsing Newegg. Some people have had good experiences but it seems like there have also been a significant number of duds.

This one has the plastic face on it. If you get you better get a cover or it'll scratch.
