Finally a useful capacity. Apple Store has the long-awaited Apple 32GB iPod Touch $499 with free shipping. It has 802.11b/g WiFi built in, and because of that they include the Safari web browser + YouTube, complete with the functionality that you've seen on the iPhone. Battery life is 22 hours audio, 5 hours for video. Includes the five new applications introduced at MacWorld SF: Mail, Maps, Weather, Notes, and Stocks. [BizRate]

Who cares if he owns a Porsche or not. Don't knock something that you can't afford and others who can and are willing to pay for it. Sure the Touch is pricey but there isn't any other MP3 player out there that I would want to buy. The Touch was my first Ipod that I bought. I also have a 5th gen Ipod 30gb that my friend gave me. Both are great players.

#30, the iPhone/iPod Touch are flash memory based devices. Not on the same price/GB scale as hard drives and the iPod Classics.

anybody who knows anything know apple products are overprice overhyped rubbish.

As far as mofo, my guess he isn't even old enough to drive and relies on mommy to buy his apple junk, just as long as he keeps his room clean.

I will go and grad one when it's on bestbuy or something. I like bestbuy's warranty. for me 500 is worth it. I doubt they are going to come out with another one with more memory. the 32 gig is 500 already.

Explain why they don't just have the blasted thing support CF cards so the incredibly stupid restriction on available space can get resolved once and for all? 32 gigs? I have single MP3s that are that size, for christ's sake.
