lookup the history refurb for $200 free shipping.
buy with amex get extra year warranty.
I still don't find this thing worth the price.
have you used one? well worth it IMO. blows anything else on the market out of the water. just wish the capacity was a little more.
Well, I don't like the fact that youtube access is crippled on this device. The safari browser can only access the "mobile" section of youtube, which contains only videos specially reformatted for the iphone. Even my $30 moto q can watch real youtube.
refurbished 8GB iphone for $250 was a better deal. 10 bucks more and you get the phone.
I am sure that a 32GB Touch is on the way... something Apple will probably get out there for the holidays.
#7 A 32GB iPod touch already exists. Refurbs are going for $429 vs. $499 for a new one.
Better functionality than the Nokia 800 for less. It does a better job of playing movies, the browser is orders of magnitude better, and there are more developers for it. Unfortunately, there's no bluetooth, no audio input or microphone so forget about VOIP applications, and you can't expand storage with cheap SD cards. Still, it's probably a better value than the Nokia 800/810.
#4 - Ummm, I am browsing "real" youtube in my iPhone's Safari right now. You just tap the link at the bottom of the first page when youtube detects you are on a mobile and warns you to get an unlimited data plan. "View Desktop Version" Maybe your moto's tiny little screen crops that out of your view or something.
There are a bunch of flaws with the iPhone/touch, but what you are talking about isn't one of them.
$250 refurbished isn't necessarily worth it either. Here are my beefs:
1. Terrible volume - how can you not have louder options, both for when talking and listening to ring tone?
2. Horrible battery life - who the hell recharges their phone every day, from basic usage and checking the Internet once or twice. Ridiculous..
3. Why can't you shut off the phone? Ever hear that to prolong battery life, it's actually REQUIRED for it to completely discharge, before recharging?
4. Camera, ok, it's decent, but majority of people know that 3 or 3.3 megapixels gets you a good 4x6 print, so implement it in the design.
5. Virtual keyboard misses letters once in a while, like everybody has the same sized thumbs...
Not a good deal. Refurb should be $200 or under.
Would this be unlocked or still stuck to ATT?
nice to see peeps reading what the actual product is
(#10 & #12 .... that means you, in case you could not work that out)
