Bought a refurb 16gb black for my mom's bday. She only uses to check the email and weather.... well at least shes happy.
The Google tablet is going to crush the ipad.
This is a pretty good value, especially if you luck out and get a 32 nm ipad 2.
I would get the 3G version for just the GPS.
It's not bad but it's relatively outdated and still can't read certain web pages due to lack of Flash and other file type support!
