It's not worth double the price, Apple just prices it that way because they can.

If I need something that can surf the web and read a book, I can get a kindle or nook for $150. And those are brand new, not refub.
Apple is stupid. They compete in quality yet they cannot supply quality. It is like going to a high-end restaurant, all you are doing is paying for the class and an average meal that you can buy at KFC for $7.
I guess people need something to waste their money on and later complain about it and how miserable their lives are to other people...
As a former Apple hater, I will have to admit that Apple's products are well worth the price and have excellent re-sale value.
Bought an iPhone 4 to see why the koolaid drinkers were so fanatical and found that it had a better quality build than all of my Android phones. It lacked many of the advanced features like voice navigation, but it never crashed and the voice quality was superb. Bought mine for about $200 through my carrier and sold it for $390. Not bad, while I'm sticking with my Android I have newfound respect for the company and its products.
$30 off isn't bad. Let's face it, there's no such thing as a market for tablets. There's only a market for iPads, and the Android stuff has only fallen in price because they're not moving off shelves anywhere near as fast as these devices.
Have agree with #8, I was from Apple hater also. The build quality of apple products is better than competition and they have good resale value maybe because there are fanboys.
