AT&T Wireless has the refurbished Apple iPad Gen 1 Wi-Fi + 3G 16GB (MC349LL/A) for $329 with free shipping. Requires minimum $15/month data plan, although it can be canceled after 30 days.
Refurbished Samsung Galaxy Tab for $350 - $150 at final checkout = $200 with free shipping (requires $15/mo. data plan)
They had the 64GB one for $429? Sorry I missed out on that!
Isn't the galaxy tab a better deal at $200?
I'm seeing the Tab at $200 off of $550, often referred to in the vernacular as "Three hunner 'n fitty". You get a 7" screen for the same price, with no long term update prospects. You can easily have all of your favorite Linux apps, as long as they aren't built on GTK, QT, KDE, NCurses, Swing, GNOME, Tk, Motif, QTopia, FLTK, SWT, OpenStep, Lesstif, XAW, or any obscure graphics framework. Me? I just pick the one with the most cupholders.
The discount for the Galaxy \Tab doesn't show until you check out; bought it for $211, tax included. I'll drop the 3G plan at $15 per month once I get it and just go with wifi. Smaller screen than the iPad, but I like the portability (will take it on business trips). We'll see how it goes, but for $211 I couldn't resist.
