remember first gen iPads will not be supported in iOS 6.
And if it was, any features worth a damn would not be supported even if the physical platform could handle them.
How the hell else are they gonna keep the fanbois opening their wallets.
Apple should just lease their products.
Pop an extra $50 for iPad2 (or $150 for iPad3)

AVOID the 1st Gen iPad.
Got it as a pass me down and it's NOT great.
The low 256mb memory is terrible as Safari CRASHES A LOT as the Control Panel states Low Memory Conflict!
It's also somewhat SLOW and sometimes the images and text DO APPEAR BLURRY!
Either get the iPad 2 which isn't much of an upgrade except for the faster processor and the supposed memory upgrade to 512Mb.
This 1st Gen is outdated and basically obsolete now.
