It's like the 3GS that can barely run the login screen nowadays, except without the letter "S". Way too old to be useful hardware, a little too soon to be a valuable historical artifact.
@pen_sq - agreed. How quickly things are changing, even the iphone 4S struggles on quite a bit of apps these days. Maybe, it's the network seeing as how att manages to s-crew their customers and network every opportunity they get.
Per Amazon user: 5.0 out of 5 stars Factory Unlocked = freedom This unlocked phone works great on T-Mobile. I just had to insert the SIM card from my old black-berry phone. Within a few minutes, it got signal. Because it was factory unlocked, it was updated to to iOS 6 just fine and remained unlocked afterward. Don't buy those iPhones that are unlocked by software, because you can't update iOS. It was $255 on Amazon so this is a good deal for NON power users.
I have the 3G, it's really slow and most of the apps don't work with the old iOS x I use it mainly as an clock + alarm, occasionally for Mobile Mouse remote control.
It does work with T-Mobile for voice, but I didn't have any luck getting it to work with Data.

The wife's still got the 3G... it's a tired old dog. Will be upgrading soon.
