Apple announced a few new products today, including a 12-core Mac Pro for five grand (?!) and this Magic Trackpad for the comparative budget price of $69 with free shipping. The Magic Trackpad promises multi-touch functionality for Mac desktops and uses Bluetooth, which is a step ahead of the entry-level Bamboo tablets.
finally, a wireless, independent touch-pad. this will make a great htpc remote once the clones (that work with other os's besides OSX.x) start being released.
This is anything BUT magical
yawn.... another crapple product.
Making something look cool doesn't make up for bad functionality. Just as making something expensive doesn't make the product better.
I don't need a white, three-ring binder for $69.
but its MAGIC!!!
Just don't touch the edge while using it, or you lose Bluetooth connectivity.
