Not bad for the price. If you want to do build a MythTV out of old hardware, the upgrades alone cost about the same.
A few things:
1. A new one is only $30 more
2. Why pay $200 to rent movies, watch youtube or podcasts, and view photos?
Though I hate Apple, my wife bought this and its surprisingly nice. I have a Linksys MCE Extender and the AppleTV seems be better in both quality and functionality. There is nothing out there for under $200 that is 1080p and N wireless and comes with a HD. Plus, I found a hack at www.appletvhacks.net that allows you to play Xvid, Divx and WVM files. Another bonus is that it has component HD, HDMI, and optical audio connections. Not bad IMHO.
