It's a little ironic that Archos was so determined to travel its own road in the personal media player world for so long -- even leading the field with touchscreen tablets. Then along came the iPad -- and then the pack of Android tablets -- and now Archos looks like they're frantically playing catch-up. This may even be their first capacitive touch tablet, not sure. Even though it looks nice and decently priced, I wouldn't bet on them. For $199 you can get the Kindle Fire or $250 for the soon-to-be-announced Nook Color 2. Sorry Archos, but your days are numbered.
