the Accelero S1 has better cooling performance. If you have a recent high-end video card, this cooler may not support it. The S1 version supports more video cards.
Forget this cooler if you want to do SLI. Definitely not for high end care due to no fan.....
My Cooler Master case's bottom and side fans blow right on the 2 Accelero S1 coolers and both stay at 97F idle.
