I have two of these. The second one I bought through Newegg's open box/return section cheap. When it arried the thermal compound was still perfect so it had never even been installed. eWizz sells them for less also. Check price watch.
There is only one downside to this heatsink and that is the clip is unduly large and won't fit on to certain motherboards. The Gigabyte GA-K8U-939 ULi M1689 board is a perfect example. I ended up using an AMD retail heatsink/fan for that board.
I have a Freezer Pro on a DFI Lanparty Ultra-D with a X2 4400+ power saver CPU OC'd to 2.5 gigs. Motherboard Monitor is showing it at a temperature of 87F.
It's not that great of a deal. Got this from Central Computers a few weeks ago for 16 dollars.
Well, it $26 plus shipping there now, #3, so thanks for nothing.
Got mine from http://www.provantage.com/arctic-acfzp64~7ARCT002.htm
for $20 and some odd cents shipped.
This is a great heatsink/fan. I just bought my second one because I switched from a socket 939 mobo to a socket 775. It pushes a lot of air and is very quiet (20db<).
Newegg rocks.
