Or if you are going to buy some other items you can get this opened box version for less...

    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16835185125R

I bought one of these as an opened box item and the thermal paste was still on it. It had never been installed. Not that it mattered as the first thing I did was wipe off the factory thermal paste and put on some Arctic Silver.

Edit: The link doesn't work so just go to Fans,Heatsinks under Opened Box/Clearance and you'll see them.

Got this for my dual core 3800. Works great, but like everyone says, do not underestimate its size, the thing is HUGE. Does a good job even with the default paste. I should have gotten that paste off there, though, since they put WAY too much. I'll probably drop so artic silver on there later and see if it makes a diff. I had to clean up with a swab and alcohol after it ran over the sides when clipping it. It was also a bear to install even though it doesn't look like it would be. For the price, though, its great.

I've been running one of these on my X2 3800 (overclocked 20%: 2.0GHz to 2.4GHz) without any issues. Nice and quiet too. Now I just need to quiet the case fans that sound like a wind tunnel.
