Ewiz blows! You are as likely to get a pack a gum as you are to get what you order.

Terrible deal, this cooler is way outdated and overpriced at this point. It should be less than $15 by now... if not in the $5-10 range. The only plus this has is that it is a bit smaller than the current modern style of coolers (xigmatek S1283 etc.)... but the performance is so much better. MAKE ROOM.

#7 I have that cooler... really solid. I picked it up for $35 and would gladly pay that much again. The one thing I don't like about the bottom is that it isn't not perfectly flush (metal base/exposed heat pipes) there's grooves along the exposed pipes... just doesn't seem as efficient as it could be. Without any crazy lapping or anything my OCed e8400 (4ghz) stays at 30-55c max.

#8 you're a fool if you believe that you will always beat build it yourself prices with a prebuilt.... I don't understand what "most people" have to do with prices. Most people are ignorant and don't know any better.

No problems with this and my E8400. Nowhere near dangerous temps after running Prime95 for days.

Microcenter has the HDT-S1283 for $29.99 and the Crossbow for $11.99. Picked it up locally. Better deal than I could find on the web. But, did hear about a couple of places online after I wasn't familiar with. It's tall! Plan to do build on Monday so we'll see.

Lots of postive reviews on the net about this Ximatek and even some videos on install.
