Thats what I use in my builds never had a cpu heating problem. Think it used to cost $8. So good deal if you are a rig builder.
3.5g is a lot
It doesn't really make THAT much of a difference, but for those guys that like to overclock their systems to the maximum potential while playing the random reboot game, it's worth the few bucks. For the typical person, even the typical person that still cobbles their systems together, it's not really worth going out of your way versus the compound that comes with a heatsink.

I can say similar things of my Tiger Insurance Protection Plan. Get it on it now while policies are cheap.
always have a tube or 2 of arctic silver handy.. definity worth it to have when doing any work on your cpu
The best CPU goo on the market. Great heat transfer. Excellent price. No reason to get anything else.
#43 though this might offer a small improvement in initial thermal conduction, the big advantage is this stuff doesn't dry as quickly as the cheap white paste. Once that cheap white stuff cakes out, it inhibits thermal conduction and makes things worse than having nothing there. The AS goo stays viable alot longer.
I still have AS3, should I use that for my next build or move onto AS5?
Awesome product. Really works as is intended. I'd buy this name brand over another generic brand.
