Got one, junk will not pull in any VHF signals. Artec are creeps, they denied me the rebate when I got it earlier.

Yeah it might be flimsy, but it still received signals for me. A few less than one that has an amplifier in it, but still got some channels.
It works for me.
You guys are aware you do not need a special antenna to pick up digital signals right?

F plug is standard coaxial (TV) cable
digital antennas are just marketing, same uhf and vhf bands.
This thing pulls down OTA HDTV for my HTPC just fine. I'm looking at it right now. Granted, I am replacing it with an attic antenna but for $8, you can't go wrong. Just take the time to position it correctly so it works right.
I don't have this antenna but a similar small standalone and it is essential to turn and tune for the stations you watch. I also was able to pull in cities much further away but then lost some of the locals I watch most often.
