It's a refurb, that's why it's so cheap. Not gonna find a new one under $300 yet.

I bought 2 of these. They both have noisy (quite annoying)cpu cooling fans; it appears to be a common mode of failure for the Aspire One. Whether you buy them new or refurb, they will relatively soon develop noisy cpu fans. Google “aspire one fan problem” to check it out.

They had the 120GB refurb for $200 and the 160GB refurb for $220. I got one (120GB) and have absolutely no complaints. It looked brand new and works great. I have installed OSX 157 on it, a compatible WiFi card (Dell 1390) and an internal bluetooth dongle. The only thing that doesn't work on it is sleep. 600 lines is a little low, but overall it's a great machine at a great price. Fun to hack.
