    The description above doesn't mention one of the most important features of this laptop: the 10.5 hour battery life (as stated by asus, most people agree on at least 6 hours).

    I think there is also a 'PU1X' version of this model which comes in the N280 processor. I don't know if there are other differences (bluetooth, probably). About $390 retail.

    There is a battery difference. the VU has a stated 8.5 hour 6 cell bat and the PU has a stated 10.5 hour 6 cell bat.

    Pretty good deal with the 6cell - It'll run Win7, Ubuntu and you can Hackintosh it.
