OK, I am starting a movement which is true in spirit but it is not going to be popular: I am asking you not to buy refurb electronics for the following reasons:
      1. exercise control on your expenses -- can't afford to buy new? Maybe you should not buy at all. Save up the money for rainy days. Resist the urge to buy the latest gadget because your 'friend' has one, particularly if you don't know jack about technology
      2. refurb electronics are new on the outside only. It is like recycled condoms -- no thanks. Maybe you are "into" some stuff someone has tried? Just say no.
      3. screw Communist China on its electronics export (you know all this shart comes from Communist China, don't you?) Save US of A, shaft Communism.

I am in with your movement. have bought a Sony camera which is MADE IN JAPAN from Fry's Electronics store for $190 plus tax in 2008. It is only 10Megapixels with 4x optical zoom but it NOT Made In China so it still in perfect working order. MADE IN CHINA are bad for the environment and basically bad for the whole world. I do not have any urges nor would ever want to travel to Mainland China. Then again all those evil Communist's leaders will one day meet their maker. Buy less, buy quality, buy Americans or buy items that are made by Democratic countries.
