What a PITA. With the 1000HE at around $350, enough already with the 1000HA rebate. Just sell it at $300 and be done with it.
I *do* think this is a slightly updated model though...doesn't it have the same keyboard as the 1000HE?

An infinite amount of time.
7hrs is the claimed battery life, as different to how long the machine will actually run.

#7 Charges in well under an hour, and I get about 5.5 hours out of it (everything turned on)
Needs overnight to charge. Does last 4-5 hours with WI-FI for me.

1000h takes about 1 hr to fully charge 6 cells. i get ~3.5 in xp, 3hr or less in vista. wifi on, screen 30%
Get the 1000HE! I got one and I love it, just get a 2GB of Memory and a bluetooth mouse for speed and you're golden like a shower.
