Besides the fast that this is the highest price it's been posted at since March...is this the one to get? The best balance of features, reliability and cost? The HP's cost to much, I've had too many reliability issues with Acer to go that route...does this model have any quirks that would make you choose another, all else being equal?

I have the 1000HE and am pretty happy with it. Go to eeeuser.com and see what people are saying there.

Hmm, nevermind, Costco version doesn't include as much.

I have a 1000HA and like it. Typical complaints:
    - Right shift key placement
    - Battery life closer to 4 to 5 hours
    - Only B/G WiFi support (1000HE has N WiFi support)
    - No bluetooth (again, 1000HE has bluetooth)

Price? The 1000HA should be selling for under $300. I paid $300 back in February without any rebates. Currently, it looks like the 1000HE is the "one to get".

HA, HE, and any other netbook should be selling for 100-150.

Agree with #7. When will the manufacturers learn that these things are only worth $100-$150, nobody is going to pay the same for them as a laptop, that they would sell a ton if they didn't try to rip people off with the high price.
