eeebuntu baby. Runs fantastic. They factory partition the 160gb drive so there's a big empty partition for your files (the D: drive). Just use that partition for eeebuntu and you can stay dual-boot (if you need XP for some reason). This is a fantastic laptop.
Tax in CA pretty much wipes the deal
I can't give up optical drives yet and they just are too low on horsepower. Hoping these drive down the cost of 12 inchers.
it's fantastic until the fan starts rattling and grinding. then it's not so fantastic anymore after 3-4 weeks waiting for asus to diagnose and fix it.
Good price for this model, especially with the SD card thrown in.
Netbooks are going the way of Disco.
