In my experience, it takes this vendor forever to ship any item I order.

It barely has the resources to run Windows XP. One must have tons of patience to use this machine. It takes forever to process anything.

This is the old 900 mhz Celeron, not the 1.6 ghz Atom. Notice how they bury that fact to the bottom of the specs? Get a 900a 4gb for 160 and upgrade the HD for another 60.

I hate buy.com but this looks like a decent deal. Everything else at this price has Linux and a smaller drive.

Man, I hate seeing these deals. I want one so bad, but can't justify it yet. I guess I'd probably better to wait for a faster CPU at this price anyway.

I'd pay a bit more and get a 1000HA or 1000HE instead. And run eeebuntu instead of XP or one of the bundled linux versions.

A friend of mine has this beast running Win7 and it is painful to use. I also found the touchpad not to be very accurate. I picked up a respiffed Dell Mini 10v using one of Ben's coupons for about $220 a few weeks back and it is like night and day.

With such bad talk, I guess I'll stay away from the celeron. Lots of these out there for sale right now.
