Can you swap out the hard drive for a 2.5" ssd?
Coworker has this. Laptop comes with a celeron processor, so it is extremely slow. You get what you paid for.
it has the Atom N270 so your coworker must have a different model.

I got the 900a version with slow 4gb ssd for 200 at bestbuy. I put a runcore 64gb ssd in there for $200. Pretty good solution if what you really want is ssd.
