Forget this... For $50 more this is a lot of card! I mean even if this 512Mb version runs more like a 5750 that still very nice for $120

#1, for anther $20 more, I can get two of these for SLi setup which beats a single 5750 at least by 20%.

#3 - Yes this 9800GT is a good deal on what in the last couple of months has turn elderly with a social security allowance, now relinquished to the budget gamer when you have good PSU. Today it's like investing $50 for 3870, the admission price doesn't mean you'll enjoy the show! "Who knew last-gen video cards could be so arousing?"

#2 - While that's sound good in theory 1) you'd have to finagle two rebates (one per household) 2) still fronting $180 out of pocket. 3) even your Tom's comparison isn't showing extraordinary results to a standard 5770 4) I don't even want to discuss the power.

A couple of titles an SLI set-up showed a clear advantage when comparing the details... the rest of them aren't worth the trouble.
