"We're sorry, this item is not available for ship to store"
REPEAT: it is NOT AVAILABLE. Argh.
They ship to the DC area.

Wait, do you mean "ship to store"? Try clicking through a few DC stores and you'll see it's "not available" when you select a particular store.
