    Very happy with mine. Nice board, nice features, been rock solid for me with E8500 w/retail HSF, EAH4850 video card, and 2x2GB Kingston. Great price for P45 chip. Might also check combo deals for good deal with an E8400 or E8500 CPU.

    well, #3...83% of the reviews are a 4 or 5 rating on newegg. where are you getting a "surprising number of people" from? also keep in mind people that don't have problems are far less likely to say anything.

    i also have this board (for about a month now)..baconnning an E8500, 8GB ram, 4850, vista64...no issues at all so far.

    I have this board with an E8400. Been working great for the last 4 months. Excellent OC options in Bios. $100 is almost a steal!

    ASUS once held the title for Quality.... That's no longer the case. MSI boards last longer and are less buggy for nearly half the price @ identical chipsets (Features such as Piped cooling, E-Sata, HDMI etc will vary by model). I learned my lesson for the last time with the Asus "Striker", which wasn't cheap @ the time of release. 3 RMA's, Months of downtime and another dead board shorty after the warranty finally ran out. Replaced with an MSI P7N SLI Platinum and it's ran like a champ for months. So long ASUS.
