I bought this one last Nov. Rebate is processing. That is too much for $15.

That's a pretty good price for a p5q Pro, cheapest I've ever seen this board go for.

Not really, I bought it with a combo deal (+ 2 GHz (2 sticks) for $84 after rebate.

#3, You mean 2GB I take it? The board itself is already dead technology with LGA 1366 being released and your choice of 1600mhz FSB chips is extremely limited to say the least. Besides, Asus is extremely over-rated now a days.

I can't tell if you're being sarcastic but you're wrong. The p5q pro is one of the best boards for under $150 and it overclocks well over 1600fsb.

Overclocking + lowered multi = 1600 mhz FSB. I run my q6600 with a 1600mhz FSB, synced with my memory, and the chip is at 2.8ghz (which is by most accounts a modest overclock for a Core 2, especially since I'm running at stock voltage).

Very happy with my P5Q Pro. Haven't done much overclocking, but got my 3.16GHz E8500 running at 3.42 GHz (360MHz FSB)on a stock Intel retail fan @ 1.29v. Hoping for a lot more once I get a real cooler on it. Board has nice features, lots of SATA, lots of USB ports and extra headers, very tweak happy BIOS. Lots of Engrish in the manuals and software, and the Windows mobo monitoring software is so-so (download better stuff off the web for free). Energy conscience folks will like the green features, but be warned overclocking disables some of that stuff. Speedstep still works when overclocking. My multiplier drops to 6.0 when idling.
