Coming down in price (not difficult), but still way too expensive. Us poor folks have gotten used to decent motherboards costing around the $100 mark.
    Not a "deal".

I believe the title is wrong. Asus does not make a P6T V2. They only make a:
    Asus P6T
    Asus P6T Deluxe
    Asus P6T Deluxe V2
    Asus P6T Deluxe/OC Palm
    Asus P6T SE
    Asus P6T Professional.

Based on the specs on Dell's website, this appears to be a regular Asus P6T since it has a single Realtek Gigabit LAN adapter. The Asus P6T Deluxe and P6T Deluxe Version 2 both have dual Marvel gigabit LAN adapters.

Still a good price for this board.

    Differences between the boards:
Asus P6T-Replaced 2 SAS ports with regular SATA ports, total 8 SATA ports.
Asus P6T Deluxe has 2 SAS ports and 6 SATA ports.
Asus P6T Deluxe OC Palm: Same as P6T Deluxe but comes with this screen module.
Asus P6T Deluxe V2- only 6 SATA ports and no SAS ports.

There are other differences as well.
