Good...all these fine components and a cheap a$$ power supply to blast them all some day.
looks like they will delivery this by Air Force One - $65 shipping.
not really a deal
CrapUSA/Tiger Direct is a REAL deal killer!
A barebones for 995? LOL!
The term 'barebones' seems to have lost it's meaning... I thought a barebones was a case/mobo/PS and maybe a floppy drive. The builder then had the option to decide what CPU, Video, Memory etc... to 'flesh the system out'.
This is just a computer kit.
Frankly, the performance/price ratio is rather low for this "barebone kit".
That is not "Barebones" for $1,000!! Good PC for most users.
compusa still exist. i though they bankrupt
Perhaps a rename to "Asus P6T X58 Meat Kit $995 at CompUSA"?
Get an XPS box from Dell. Includes a 23 inch flatscreen and a warranty and tech support.
#9, they were bought out by TigerDirect/Systemax. Same with Circuit City: www.circuitcity.com
Why do they always throw in slow ram?
So you buy the kit, #13, then spend extra for good ram.
If you want a kit, go to newegg and pick all the exact components you want (after doing some research yourself, first). Then you'll get exactly what you want and nothing extra that you don't need (like a cruddy power supply or hard drive)
this is a good deal for people that don't know how to shop for good deals.
not a good deal...
everyone who says this is a bad deal is clearly wrong because it has four blue squares!
