Too many laid-off workers? GM should follow suit, sale the car in pieces and make the buyer put it together.

I know what you're thinking. "Can I trust a TigerDirect rebate?" Well, to tell you the truth, I don't know. But being as Ben touts the after-rebate price as "shipped," I guess he knows something nobody else does. You've got to ask yourself one question: Do I feel lucky?

A $20 rebate on this deal is essentially a 2.1% discount (before shipping).

    I'll pass.

Looks like memory is the most expensive component - at least in my case I would be paying for something that I would not be utilizing more than a quarter of.

    #7 -
    Asus P6T Motherboard $249.99
    Intel Core i7 920 Processor BX80601920 $279.99
    Patriot Viper Tri Channel 6GB PC10666 DDR3 Memory $209.98
    Hitachi 7K1000.B Hard Drive $ 79.99
    Ultra M923 ATX Black Full Tower Case - Qty: 1 $ 99.98
    Ultra LSP750 750-Watt Power Supply - Qty: 1 $ 79.99

Looks like the memory is the 3rd most expensive thing to me. Of course the fact that the rebate is on the memory and you only get 1 rebate (the rebate is for a single set) is silly.

Why are you guys flipping on this price? Tiger does the math for you on the link - it's only a $50 discount (20%) buying everything together. IF you get the rebate that's another $20, but you have to add in the $65 shipping.

It's a fine deal, but they're definitely not "on crack" at this price.
