Sub-3-hour-life battery and RAM are nearly impossible to upgrade. The HDD and WiFi can be swapped but there are no access panels. You need to open the whole bottom.
Otherwise, it's not a bad little machine for someone who needs something in a netbook form factor with more power. The touchscreen seems like a very nice thing to have with Win8 as well. Reviewers are starting to say it's actually a real added value and no longer just a gimmick.
At this price, it seems pretty good.
No hybrid or otherwise ssd drive
I paid $499 for this laptop 2 months ago and I really like it, So for $400 its a real bargain.
