FYI…There are two different ASUS Direct CU 7870, this is the early one with just one DVI-D, while there a -V2 that come with two DVI-D. Some other difference seen on the -V2 is a change to the cooler with exposed heat-pipes and revised shroud. With only a paltry 10MHz overclock to the core and the memory, it's not any screamer out of the box, basically ASUS originally gave it a price as many reference board, but and different cooler.
Don’t discount it though, W1zzard was able to find 1260 MHz core (15% overclock) and 1620 MHz Memory (30% overclock) having it comes alive, and at such speed in the fray with cost conscience (reference) GTX660Ti. This is a very positive price for AMD against the GTX660Ti, while we'll see how Nvidia's soon to be release GTX660(Non-ti) based on GK106 silicon; said to get 960 CUDA, 2Gb of GDDR5 across a 192-bit memory bus will combat against this card series that's been around what 7 months!
