Looks damn good. Just don't want to fork over a grand.
You could try a five finger discount...
For the money, yo could have this or three Dyson vacuum cleaners...
Seems expensive for what's basically a souped up netbook. Fine, if you want that, of course. But I'm hanging onto my cash so I can buy a houseful of Dyson appliances. The Airblade Tap alone will set me back around $1,500, and then I'll need a few fans and maybe a vacuum.
CNET did one of their "prize fight" comparisons between this and the Lenovo Yoga. I considered this unit but the lack of touch on the inside screen was a deal breaker. I also didn't like the idea of an always-exposed screen since. I never use laptop sleeve. I know it's nice to protect resale value and to keep the case looking nice, but I consider a laptop a consumable item. I don't value case prettiness over my convenience, and it's pain to have to keep removing and replacing a sleeve every time you want to use the thing. A sleeve is almost mandatory with this model.
What do you mean lack of touch on the inside screen? It says " back-to-back 1920x1080 IPS Multi-Touch displays"
Maybe this a different model but every review I have read says that the inside screen does not support touch.
I would never buy an ASUS laptop again, they compromise on quality of some of their parts, like Ethernet ports or keyboard or wherever they can squeeze that little profit. Their mother boards may be good but not their laptops.
