I have this and it works great. I haven't had any issues with it.
I bought 2 of these awhile back, for the life of me cannot get either one of them to work in any system I have tried them on: Win7 64, Win7 32, Vista, and Win 98. I followed the instructions from ASUS, used the latest drivers, older drivers, the included drivers and finally gave up and bought a higher quality product that worked the first time with no hassles.
It is obvious that the build quality is way below par with half of the people saying it works great, and the other half having problems. The rebate process is simple enough and comes through after 6 weeks so in the end all you have to lose is $4, the cost of a stamp, and LOTS of your time.
So, are you feeling lucky today???
I brought the $1 one and the sound quality was horrible. I got what I paid for I think.
