This is an excellent monitor, in my opinion. I have this exact model on one of my desktop computers and things look great when viewed with it.

Even 3D looks awesome, though I with its size was larger for 3D movies.

How much power does yours consume? Do you have a watt-meter?

#2, since you brought it up, I hooked up the Kill-A-Watt to it and it oscillates between 32 and 33 Watts watching a 3D movie.

In stand by mode, almost 1 Watt.

Yours may comsume more or less, some of it depends on how you set up the brightness on it and other things.

This is a very nice monitor I believe. But I bought the VH236H already for 150, and that was not LED.

#1, how to show 3D on this monitor? I checked specifications on newegg and it didn't mention 3D. I have VH236H if I can get it to show 3D movies it would be great too. I have a blueray drive and tried a few movies but haven't seen 3D yet.

Thanks for the test. I'm looking to get into the 20 watt range, like the now discontinued Dell G series. Living solar electric, one counts every KW.

      Thanks

Type faster, turn computer off sooner, uses less power?
