it is a very good monitor, even for graphic designer (who i am). the color is very accurate for pantone solid coated. i got this like a year ago for $180. nice to see it drops to 155 now. go for it, it's ASUS, what do u need to worry about?

Not bad but for around this price range on sale and a 1080p TN panel I'd go with the 24" Samsungs instead.

Which 24" Samsungs? Maybe I'd get them if I knew what you were talking about.

I've got this and recommend it. Rated higher than the Samsungs by CNET. It's beautiful on or off. Has HDMI, DVI and speakers. The speakers are awful but at least it has them.

    2494SW

... Dell has had some deals in the past making it $190 w/keyboard, less without, and of course it periodically goes on sale elsewhere and/or use Bing Cashback.

If you need HDMI & speakers for some reason, there's another 2494%% model with that for addt'l $.

Just ordered one of these. What #3 said about color accuracy was particularly applicable to my needs. Thanks, buddies. Knew I could count on you all. (You too, Dave C.)
