Avoid RT at all costs. When you find that NONE of your old programs work with it, you'll be more than disappointed!
But if you are going to buy an RT device, this is a much better option than the Surface since the keyboard adds extended battery life and lets you change to a different angle other than 22 degrees.
No duh, Mr. Ed. The RT only runs 64 bit applications. If you want legacy support for your programs then buy a Windows 8 tablet.
