Good Eggveiws and overall Asus has a good product. Two things that standout are the designators (print) for the control button is too noticeable, and would rather it had a power brick instead of the internal PSU.
I have the VH version with same specs, am satisfied for the sale + rebated price (think it was $130 at the time last fall) but otherwise I don't understand why these are so popular or get such good reviews as they are just your average LED backlit medium quality monitors.
Then again, they seem a bit better than the Acers or Hannsprees which are same or lower cost.
The featured VS model is a bit slimmer than some, appears to still have a VESA mounting plate, but appears to have less ventilation due to the slimmer design. Glossy (frame?) and both the power and data ports in the back point out at a 90' angle instead of down which is kind of funny because it defeats the effect of being slimmer.
