I would consider this if it weren't coming from ZipZoomFly.

Agreed. The rebate is channel wide until 11/30 so you might find it somewhere else.

Whats wrong with ZZF, #1? I've never had a problem with them, great service, fast shipping, & I always get my rebates.

I have read a lot of great reviews about this monitor. Sure it's a TN panel, but it seems that a lot of gamers on forums are favoring this monitor to go with the Radeon HD 5870. I would buy from at this price if it were from newegg or tigerdirect. The rebate exp on 11/30? Mind as well wait for BF.

#7 you are right, this model Asus is currently the most recommended jumbo sized monitor for gaming.

#3 in this pricerange the only thing you can be picky about is response time, and this Asus has almost the best, proven response time at the moment. On the other hand the 22" Dell 2209WA E-IPS screen has been proven to work at 75hz refresh rate. Not sure how much a 75hz refresh rate would help quick motion movie scenes however.

How are the colors represented with this monitor? Does it keep calibration?
