Prices keep falling so quickly, I payed $250 for a 24 acer at the start of the year and it was an amazing price, now a 25.5 Asus for less then what I payed, good times
Anyone have experience with this unit? I'm in the market for something around this price. Any better recommendations?
There's Bing cashback on this also.
I have this monitor on my desk and I like it a lot; for me it's much better than having two small ones side by side
colors are good and mine does not have any dead pixels; I paid $250 2 weeks ago
Nice Deal! I just dont need one right now.
#2, as it is 1900x1200 at that size, that is a good resolution. I've seen the 23" version of this and it does well, so I'd suggest this monitor as opposed to avoiding it.

I pulled the trigger on it. Must admit that it was a tough choice between it and the 28" Hans-G though. Hopefully I will not regret it.
#8, I bought & returned the Hanns-G 28" LCD monitor after a couple months of use. This Hanns-G 28" LCD monitor only has 1 HMDI & 1 VGA and there is no input select button. You'd have to use the unintuitive (on the side) menu buttons to figure out which buttons to push just to switch video source, very cheap & stupid design.
I bought the Asus 26" LCD monitor a few weeks ago and it has 1 VGA, 1 DVI, 1 HDMI and R/G/B Component inputs which you could select via a dedicated input selector button, right on the front lower panel. Picture is beautiful. You can even hook up an external DVD player or other video source using either the HDMI and/or Component input while your PC uses the DVI connector. No regret whatsoever.
Had the 24" Asus VW246H added a 25.5" VW266H for a 2nd monitor. Terrible blue tinge on the VW266H. Bought a Huey Pro and it took care of the problem. Bought another VW266H and it suffered from the blues too. Again calibration took care of it. These are difficult to calibrate by eye but after calibration they are a good TN display, a lot of bang for the buck! I would buy again.
#9 thanks for your comment on the 28" hann's g it has 1300 reviews at 5 eggs. i don't know what to think.
