Update: Dollar General has it for $40 - 20% off in cart + $0 shipping = $32 shipped. Thanks, foreststomp!
Buy.com has the Atari Flashback 3 Classic Game Console for $45. Features 60 built-in games, pause function, plug and play via A/V inputs, 2/3rd the size of the original 1977 release, and includes two classic Atari 2600 joysticks.
I still have my original 6-switch Atari VCS that my parents got me for xmas when I was a wee lad, and it still works. They don't build 'em like that anymore. I can't begin to imagine the number of hours I have on that thing.
I don't see a cartridge slot for my Arcadia SuperCharger. Given that, is "Communist Mutants from Space" one of the 60 included games? I don't see a list at buy.com.
I don't know how similar the Flashback 3 hardware is to the Flashback 2, but if they are close enough and you are handy with a soldering iron then you should be able to add a cartridge slot. I had considered doing this in case my ancient 30+ year old console finally died, not that I really ever play it anymore.
edit: Nevermind. "Internally the Flashback 3 system uses emulation running on an ARM-based processor instead of Legacy's '2600-on-a-chip' and is not hackable to add a cartridge port for reading original Atari 2600 cartridges."
Remind me of the good old days in the 80's when I have my first Atari.

It is 32.00 at dollar general http://www.dollargeneral.com currently. I believe it is the same model.
Thanks foreststomp, ordered one
