4 Rebates = $65, along with the nerve of $12 shipping... that adds up to $77! Rolling Eyes

There's nothing really glaring about the parts and overall adequate components to build. The problem miss-out on one $15-20 rebate and it's starts not looking not so good. It's again a HHD that is the value part here and with that hard to top it.

The part below are enhanced stuff and comes out to $215 –AR$10 and PSU code; includes $7 shipping. That leaves $47 toward a HHD and same HDD is $82+ including shipping. Now, if you consider the "Refurbished" Seagate Barracuda ES ST3400620NS 400GB 7200 RPM 16MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb it's only $55 w/FS. I don't know what's worse at this point, a new drive built in a freshly restarted factory, or a drive that's tested to ensure compliance with original manufacturer specifications and a 90 day warranty; though of the 7 Eggviews they're mixed, with only one DOA. What’s $27... it’s like losing out on a rebate.

      AMD A4-3400 Llano 2.7GHz Socket FM1 65W Dual-Core and the Gigabyte GA-A55M-DS2 FM1 AMD A55 (Hudson D2) Micro ATX: look for Combo #831266 = $110
      Mushkin Enhanced Essentials 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800): N82E16820226285 = $24
      CORSAIR CX430 V2 430W ATX12V v2.3 80 PLUS Certified Active PFC: N82E16817139026 = $28.25 –AR$10 and 15% ($6.75) Code EMCNHJN69
Rosewill FBM-01 Dual Fans MicroATX Mini Tower Case: N82E16811147123 = $30
      LG 22X DVD Burner Black SATA Model GH22NS90B - OEM: N82E16827136240 = $16

The rebates are really not worth it these days with companies dropping like flies. If they don't send you back an email saying you don't qualify because of some BS like Corsair does. I refuse to buy another rebated item from any vendor that doesn't accept duplicate copies of the things I've mailed them.

Yea, that Thermaltake is a pretty much normal tower, but the downer is mounts for 2 80mm in the back while no included fans.

Have a look at the Rosewill FBM-01 MicroATX Mini Tower 13.8" High 15" deep 7.5" width. It has an 80mm fan mounted in the back, but room might be there for a 120mm, though I'd want to cut that grill out. The front has a 120mm in there... if both had 3-pin fan for mobo connects instead of molex sweet, but those would be good enough to start.

I mean for a Micro Mini tower it's not the worst for $35.
