do NOT buy this. won it 3 yrs ago. the fan shakes the plastic casing and makes it SUPER LOUD.
If that's the only problem then it shouldn't be too difficult to fix..
audiovox is crap in many forms. save your money and buy something with a decent name brand.
we even mounted a different fan on the outside and it doesn't stop it from shaking
it shouldn't even need a fan if it is built with proper ventilation and good components.

I'm trying to think who would want this? Any adult should be able to afford a little better than this at least, else they really shouldn't upgrade to 5.1 yet. So, maybe either a college kid who would use it for a couple years until graduating, or an old person who just needs more volume out of the TV to combat loss of hearing?
