Woot! has the refurbished Augen NBA7800ATP 7" Color Touch Screen Android 2.1 Tablet PC (GENTOUCH78) for $110 + $5 shipping = $115 shipped. Features Google Android OS 2.1, a 7" 800x480 touchscreen, 800Mhz CPU, 256MB DDR2, 2GB internal memory, SD card slot, and wi-fi.
Be careful and read some of the reviews before ordering this! If you do not like to hack this is probably not the device for you!
Be careful with the specs as well some are dead wrong instead of SD card it has a MicroSD, and depending on the actual version you get the headphone jack is 2.5mm instead of the standard 3.5mm.
Right on, #1. Google denied Augen access to the apps store because Augen hadn't bothered to seek the mandatory license. This apparently P'ed Google O.
Plus.... * The speaker is loud and is limited to off or fully-on. * The screen uses resistive-touch technology. Reviews suggest that as many as 50% of the touches are ignored. Augen expects you to use the included stylus - a major inconvenience. * The microSD card falls into the interior of the device if you insert it mis-oriented. You'll need to remove 7 screws and the back of the case to retrieve it. * Battery charge is exhausted in about 3 hours.
With an original list price of $150, this isn't much of a reduction for a refurb. The initial release of the software was flawed, so the buyer had better hope that the refurb'ing incorporates the later patches.

There is no Google apps and no Google app store.
