JR.com has the Augen NBA7800ATP 7" Color Touch Screen Android 2.1 Tablet PC for $150 - $10 off with coupon code GEICO10 = $140 with free shipping. Features Google Android OS 2.1, a 7" 800x480 touchscreen, 800Mhz CPU, 256MB DDR2, 2GB internal memory, SD card slot, and wi-fi. Also available at Kmart for the same price with code KMHOLIDAY.
I have an Augen netbook, also a 7-incher but with a keyboard, more RAM, a slightly slower processor, and limited O/S Win CE; it was about half the price of this guy. It works unexpectedly well; I use it for checking activity on RJ45 drops, web surfing in bed (you can easily hold it with two fingers), and travel (when I do not care so much about getting sand in it or losing it). Although it does not accept add-on software, it comes with a pretty good set for my type of use.
So, I am wondering about the trade-off between lack of a keyboard versus actual usable O/S (and twice the cost) - in a seven-inch system. Although the RAM is half that of my netbook, perhaps the O/S is nore efficient?
In August I purchased one for my self and one as a gift. Both had defects as did their replacements, on the third time, one was OK and the other crashed and wouldn't charge.
You have no access to the Google Market. or calendar or most of the major Google apps. The screen is like the old palm pilot types and is not responsive. memory cards get stuck or won't go in and the power button can fall inside the device. These items are made with the worst quality control of anything I have purchased in the last ten years!
The folks at the two Kmarts I visited had more broken ones on their way back to Augen then they did new ones!

Worst quality control ever! DO NOT BUY THIS ITEM.

Funny, I thought KMart dropped the Augen tablet after Augen was caught using an unlicensed copy of the Android App Market:
